Job Purpose:
To play a pivotal role within our tutoring team and teach students aged 8-18. We are seeking qualified tutors
that have a strong educational background and the ability to teach maths, science or english.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach small groups and students of various ages.
Supervise a group of students and act as a point of contact for parents, if required.
Provide feedback on the progress of individual students.
Manage course materials (provided by us).
Plan lessons according to the block's timetable and schedule teaching.
Education/Experience:
GCSEs in English Lanugage, English Literature, Mathematics and Science at Grade 4 or above (essential).
A-Levels in topic you'll be teaching (essential).
Ability to use virtual learning applications, including Zoom and Skype (essential).
Experience working with children (desirable).
Driver's license (desirable).
Skills/Abilities:
Interact with students in an engaging and creative way.
Work in a team environment.
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Dependable, flexible and keen eye for detail.
Job Details:
Ability to travel within Berkshire is preferred. Remote working opportunities are available.
Flexible hours from Monday-Sunday.
