"Simply tutored has been tutoring my daughter, once a week for 2 hours, on a Wednesday evening for the last 8 - 9 months and I have been extremely impressed by the change in her level of attainment over that time. In two consecutive tests around Easter time last year she scored between 50% and 55% in each test and has recently, in her November and December monthly tests, scored between 75% and 80%. So clear progress.
My daughter has found the tutor to be very easy to understand and he breaks down the tutoring into interesting exercises, using different methods to make the study experience as varied as possible. The tutor seems to have quickly put my daughter at ease as initially she was a little nervous about having a tutor outside school. This passed very quickly and she is very comfortable now to talk openly about any problems or issues she feels she has with her maths homework or course work in school.
I have noticed a marked increase in her confidence levels with regard to maths generally. Her ability to solve and understand complex problems is much improved and this has been a step change in the last 9 months since the tutor started with her. I have also found simply tutored to be extremely reliable in terms of making sessions and on the odd occasion when either of us needed to change times/days then the tutor has been extremely flexible and able to accommodate different times.
Overall - I would thoroughly recommend him in terms of being a quality tutor who is easy to work with and puts the student at ease. The results have been really positive in terms of my daughter’s test marks, which is the acid test."
